Rules for Submission
of Contributions . . .
- An Heroic Quest for
Spiritual Truth and Enlightenment
- All articles or contributions must be original works targeted to
a broadly projected audience at BeingQuestTM.
- Also included ought to be a brief summary of papers'
contents and intellectual bent of evidence, relevant to the subject of the article
treated.
- The article should be either related to the general thematic
continuities of BeingQuestTM or to projected spheres in arguement of consequence for each and all.
Updates for articles or contribution suggestions can be found on the "New Contributions" page.
- Articles need to be Word Processed for Wire transmission.
- The length of treatment for different subjects depends, but for
standard treatments of the casual polemic type, at least 3000 words in minimum, without
quotation marks or source dropping.
- Quotations from The Holy Bible should be followed by their
references in the following format:
- (Book [chapter no.]:[range of verses]) e.g. (John, 3:16-17)
- References, further readings should be listed at the end of the
article in the following format:
- Books: Author's surname, initials, year of pub., title of book,
pages quoted, city of publication.
- Articles: Author's surname, initials, year of publication, title
of article, name of publication, volume, pages quoted, city of publication.
- The dates of the Roman calendar (AD) as Christian Era (CE).
- Naturally, it has to be said that the submission of an article
does not ensure its inclusion for posting here but is wholly subject to inclusion by BeingQuestTM website Editors.
- The editorial board reserves the right to reject submissions
upon first evidence without remedy, but will cede editorial comments when requested. If
there is a large amount of editing necessary yet to a young but promising manuscript,
editorial advice and coaching is available to the end of publication.
- Submission of Articles:
- E-Mail: contributions are preferred via e-mail in HTML format
pasted into the message area. Other acceptable formats via e-mail are: text pasted into
the e-mail message; text as an attachment; Microsoft Word 6 documents as an attachment.
When attaching files to an e-mail, include the description of each attachment in the
message. E-mail all contributions and communications to: beingquest.com.
- Graphics: all graphics should be in either GIF and or JPEG
formats, reduced to the display size (e.g. 3 inches x 2 inches) and resolution (72dpi)
making it ideal for downloading and viewing with a browser. Graphics can be sent via
e-mail or disk. In some cases, TIFF or EPS formats will be accepted. Note when converting
EPS to GIF, substantial loss of quality occurs.
